Program
Day 1

Arrival in Bishkek, welcome to Kyrgyzstan!
Arrival in Bishkek, hotel check-in, rest after the journey, and final trip preparations. In the evening, we review the course plan, check personal equipment, and get ready for the alpine part of the program.
Day 2

Transfer to Ala Archa, trek to the Mountain hut
Transfer to Ala Archa National Park and approach to the mountain hut. This is the first real mountain day, with time to settle in, enjoy the scenery, and adapt to the alpine environment. In the evening, we do a light warm-up session on the rocks near the hut.
Day 3

Rock school: climbing, protection and rope techniques
A full day of rock training focused on movement, rope work, belaying, rappelling, and safe climbing technique. We also practice placing protection and building anchor systems, so every participant gains confidence and control on natural rock terrain.
Days 4-5

Rock summits days: ascents on rock routes
Over these two days, we move from training to real climbing on rock routes. The program includes ascent on one or two mountain objectives, depending on weather and group pace. These climbs are designed to reinforce route reading, teamwork, movement efficiency, and decision-making in the mountains.
Day 6

Ice school: glacier and steep ice techniques
Today is dedicated to ice training. We practice crampon walking, ice axe use, ice screw placement, ice belay systems, rope-team movement on a glacier, crevasse rescue, and introductory ice climbing. This day builds the technical base needed for more serious alpine routes.
Day 7-8

Ice summits days: ascents on ice routes
These two days are reserved for climbing summit objectives on ice routes. Depending on conditions and the group’s level, we choose suitable peaks that allow us to apply all the skills learned during the course. These are the most demanding and rewarding days of the program.
Day 9

Descent and return to Bishkek
We descend from the mountain area, leave the gorge, and transfer back to Bishkek. After a strong week in the mountains, this is the day to relax, recover, and take home the experience and progress from the course.
